Interested in becoming a Freemason in Fort Worth? Sunrise Daylight Lodge No. 1433 welcomes men who want to learn more about Masonry, fellowship, character, and service. Because we meet during the day at the Fort Worth Masonic Temple, our lodge is especially convenient for men whose schedules make evening meetings difficult.

Freemasonry welcomes men of good character who come of their own free will, believe in a Supreme Being, and are prepared to respect the beliefs of others. Membership is not based on wealth, profession, political affiliation, or a particular religious denomination.

The best way to determine whether Masonry is right for you is to meet local Masons, ask questions, and learn what membership involves. There is no obligation simply for contacting the lodge.

Men who find meaning in the following principles may feel at home in Freemasonry:

Do you believe a man should act with honor and take responsibility for his conduct? Masons seek to build lives founded on integrity, honesty, and sound judgment.

Do you believe in a Supreme Being while allowing others the same freedom of belief you expect for yourself? Freemasonry is not a religion and does not tell a man how to worship. It does require faith and encourages tolerance in religious, social, and political matters.

Do you feel responsible for leaving your community better than you found it? Masons support charitable work, civic projects, education, families, and neighbors in need. Much of that service is performed quietly, without seeking recognition.

Are you willing to help others and accept help when you need it? Masonic brotherhood includes friendship, encouragement, practical assistance, and being present for one another through life’s successes and difficulties.

Do you believe personal growth matters more than money, position, or influence? Freemasonry uses its traditions and lessons to encourage self-improvement. A Mason works on his character with the same care a craftsman gives his work.

Do you strive to be a responsible citizen and treat others with fairness and compassion? Masons value just government, obedience to lawful authority, kindness toward those who suffer, and respect for the dignity of every person.

Do you try to deal fairly with others, promote harmony, and follow the Golden Rule? Freemasonry teaches that brotherhood is expressed through everyday conduct—in the family, the lodge, the workplace, and the community.
