Jeremy Bradford, Junior Warden
Jeremy Bradford serves as Junior Warden of Sunrise Daylight Lodge No. 1433. The Junior Warden is the third of the lodge’s three principal officers.
He is traditionally charged with supervising the lodge while it is at refreshment—that is, during meals, recesses, and other social occasions.
The Role of the Junior Warden
The Junior Warden helps ensure that fellowship and refreshment are enjoyed with good judgment, moderation, and respect for the lodge. The position is filled annually by election and traditionally prepares an officer for greater responsibility.
The office calls for temperance, discretion, fairness, and careful attention to the well-being and conduct of the Craft.
The Plumb: Jewel of the Office
The Plumb is associated with the Junior Warden’s office. It reminds Masons to walk uprightly in their several stations, hold the scales of justice in equal balance, and bring their passions and prejudices into harmony with duty.
